Food Physics and EnginEering Laboratory is headed by Dr. Jose V. Garcia-Perez. Briefly, our main aim is the improvement of food processing operations by applying engineering tools and physical technologies. Our activity could be roughly classified in two different domains:

  • Process intensification
  • Process & Product control

FoodPEEL Lab is a part of the Research Group of Analysis and SImulation of Agri-Food Processes (ASPA), which constitutes one of the 3 Groups of the Department of Food Technology of the Universitat Politècnica de València
